1 When the hue meets the requirements, the less color types of ink used, the easier it is to deploy and control. If you can use intermediate ink, don't use multicolor verification. The result should clearly give the conformity judgment ink. According to the subtraction method, the more colors the spot color ink uses, the lower its saturation will be, and the black component will increase accordingly

2. Confirm the main tone and the auxiliary tone of the printed matter. The main tone ink is used as the basic ink, and other inks are used as the toning ink. The basic ink is mainly used, and the toning ink is supplemented. In this way, the spot color ink can be prepared faster and more accurately

3. When mixing proofing and sample ink, try to use the same paper as the paper used for printing, because the color of the ink will change with the difference of paper absorption and other factors. Only by maintaining a stable paper can we avoid color errors caused by paper differences

4. Use ordinary white cardboard to make small samples or scrape samples. The thickness of the ink layer will directly affect the color of the ink. If the ink layer is thin, the light color should be considered from the source and the brightness should be high. The difference of color will be caused by the difference of field or line, wet pressing or wet drying, large or small amount of powder spraying, flatness and whiteness of paper surface, thickness of ink layer and so on

5. To adjust the spot color ink, first call out the saturated hue of the ink, make a thin sample, confirm that there is no lack of primary and secondary colors, and then adjust it to the desired spot color with diluent

6. The factors that affect the color of spot color ink also include printing process, water volume, ink volume control, vehicle speed and printing equipment. We should grasp printing and its rules to ensure product quality
